Custom colouring my Tim Carli Clip In Hair Extensions!
In case you haven’t noticed I am a little obsessed with my new Tim Carli Clip In Hair extensions! They are seriously thick & perfectly matched to my hair! I have, of course, the quality of the hair extensions to thank BUT also my amazing stylist Jenny who coloured them for me! I wanted to share this process with you guys as I know purchasing hair online can be risky and sometimes disappointing! Ladies know the hair can make or break you!

I brought my 220 gram Platinum Blonde Tim Carli clip in hair extensions to my talented stylist to blend and match the colour to my own hair! I wanted a seamless blend so no one would be able to tell I had clip ins! The great thing about the Tim Carli Hair is that it is 100% Remy Human hair so I am able to colour and heat as much as I want!
She used a mix of Schwarzkopf Royal 7-0 with 20 Volume! She did a painted blend as seen in the video. This is how she colours my own hair and I love how natural and pretty it looks. It was how I thought the extensions would look most natural and they turned out EXACTLY how I wanted!
Once we rinsed the colour out we toned with this Kerachroma Clenditioner in Platinum! It was the perfect tone! This can easily be added to any colour service so it’s a new favourite for me. It is important to ensure you use a professional salon toner and do a test strip! The very first toner we used did next to nothing to my own hair but looked extremely different in my extensions! We didnt love it and I would have been so sad if I ended up with my whole set that tone! When applying the toner ensure you are applying to damp hair! Emulsify with water as much as possible and gently comb through so you know you have evenly coated each strand. The extensions can quickly absorb so you need to keep an eye on them! This is key to ensuring success.
They stayed insanely soft and tangle free even after being coloured, toned and washed multiple times within a short period. They style lasts forever in them which I love! I have long days and crazy adventures in my Tim Carli’s LOL! Photoshoots can be inside then out in the wind or the gym even! Often I am changing my clothes and hair style throughout photoshoots and the clips stay in tact and the hair is always tangle free. It is exceptional.
